Welcome to a special podcast where I was lucky to sit down and chat to the most iconic DJ in Sheffield’s long history associated with electronic and dance music. In the 1980s, Winston Hazel was instrumental in lighting the flame for black and electronic music and that light continues to burn so brightly forty years on. In this podcast we talked about his roots, the iconic Jive Turkey nights, Occasions and Kikis and of course Kabal which has now been going for pretty much quarter of a century.
